We want every person to receive a word of encouragement, a biblical, practical teaching and with the power of the Holy Spirit experience an abundant life. We have people of all ages and different nationalities, which we love and accept regardless of your background or condition. Everyone is welcome and we want you to feel at home.

We want to GROW in our relationship with God, in knowledge of His Word and with each other, through experiences where we share our life together. Our groups meet in homes and public places during the week, to share the teachings of our pastors, to pray together and to encourage us to put into practice the word of God, which transforms and improves our lives.

We are committed to GO and serve Jesus and others, by sharing God’s love through acts of kindness, both in God’s house and in our community. There are many opportunities and there is a place for you, where you can contribute your Time, your Talent and your Treasure. Your contribution is of great value to everyone. We believe that “Seeking the well-being of others we find our own well-being”

Our Vision

Healing Place Church Spain was established to impact Estepona and Costa del Sol by communicating the salvation and blessing found in the Gospel by giving testimonies of improved lives, marriages, families and communities. “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, that the blessing of Abraham would reach the nations and receive the promise of the Spirit.” Galatians 3:13-14

We believe that the blessing of Abraham is ours, to serve as a blessing to all the families of the earth. “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” Genesis 12:2-3

Our History

Dick and Ruth were married in 1980 and have 4 grown children and six grandchildren. Over 45 years ago, each of them experienced powerful encounters with Jesus and deliverance from the destructive influences in their lives. They encountered true love and purpose by deciding to follow Jesus. They have served the Lord in various parts of the world, as pastors in the U.S.A. and missionaries in Guatemala, Honduras, Central America, Amsterdam and Spain, where thousands of people gave their lives to the Lord.

In 2007 they founded the church “A Great Nation” in Estepona, Spain with a mission statement of Improving Lives, Marriages, Families and Communities. Ten years later, the church became known as Healing Place Church Spain, a campus of Healing Place Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA.
